32X40 POLAR WHITE RAG MAT MUSEUM
Rising Museum Board, a line of 100% cotton fiber boards, began its first production in 1970. Over the past 4+ decades, Rising has become synonymous with quality, archival framing. The range exceeds the standards established by the Library of Congress, Library Service Institutions and Conservation Laboratories and has become the cotton board of choice by the most prestigious museums, galleries & framers worldwide. Rising Museum Board cuts the cleanest bevels with no feathering or blade drag; the surface is level with a slight vellum surface (not smooth) so as not to compete with artwork being matted and framed. The rigid quality control ensures consistency across the range producing a board free of specs, dirt or blemishes. Rising Museum Boards consist of 14 colors, are acid-free, Neutral pH and buffered with calcium carbonate. Many artists use the boards for various fine art techniques such as drawing, charcoal, pastel, silkscreen and crisp letterpress printing.
